Cafe Mocha Art House – Relaxed ambiance and soulful music

The promenade mall is always
buzzing with people that come to enjoy a nice meal with family and friends. While
the mall offers options like movie theaters and branded showrooms, the restaurants are
the most frequented places. I visited the Café Mocha Art
House in Promade mall and was very impressed. Here is my detailed review about
the place –

The aroma of freshly brewed
coffee is the first thing you notice the moment you step in. Located at the ground level of the
promenade mall, the café has a very vibrant vibe.
The restaurant manager greets
us and ushers us towards the table outdoors. There is hookah in the air that smells heavenly.
The space is beautifully lit up and is echoed with the
laughter of the guests from each corner.
Comfortable sofas are lined up allowing
enough room to pass through. The live musical performance was the thing I loved
the most. The singer was strumming the guitar and singing soulful numbers from
Bollywood movies; mostly sung by Arijit Singh, the reputed singer.
The staff is very courteous and
ensures guests are well attended. The manager approached us with the menu that has an exhaustive number of dishes to
choose from.
We chose the Watermelon and
Beetroot Feta Cheese salad to initiate our culinary odyssey. We ordered for some starters like the Mocha Fried Chicken – Mocha Art House Specialty, Grilled fish
with mashed potatoes and some prawns.
The Mocha Fried Chicken was gone
in a few seconds and satiated us to a level impossible to express ; but it was the
Grilled that stole my heart. The Lemon Butter Sauce had the perfect conjugation
of herbs and lemon that accentuated the flavor of Grilled fish. The Prawns had
a spicy intonation that seemed so rhythmic.
The fresh juices are as sinful as
the food. I ordered for the carrot, ginger and apple fresh juice, while my
daughter preferred to order Virgin Mojito.
Our meal was sealed with Cheese Cake
Brownie topped with gooey fudge sauce. The dinner was over, but we realized our
conversations were lost in the gripping flavors of food and the soulful music of the singers. Now I know where to head to for a delightful meal and a good ambiance.
