Weber Grub Theatre at ‘The Grub Fest 2016’

The Grub Fest is the biggest and most
vibrant food festival in the country.  This year, the three-day festival happened
from October 14th-16th, 2016 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. I
witnessed a fabulous experience with Weber India. 


The barbeque company aims at
breaking existing myths among people and spreading education about grilling.Besides
showcasing a new dimension to the art of grilling it made people aware of the
benefits of Weber’s invention, closed- lid grilling.

At The Grub Fest, Weber participated
with The Grub Theatre, where Weber Chefs presented the art of grilling to food
connoisseurs during two-time slots, 3-4PM, and 6-7PM on all 3 days.

Adding a new dimension to the culinary experience, star chefs demonstrated the
scrumptious fusion of local gourmet with a twist of American grilling culture while
showcasing Weber’s unique method of cooking – “covered grilling” to the
visitors at the theatre.

It included live cookout session of
grilling, baking, roasting and smoking on a Weber grill and pesented the easy
closed-grill technique starting from lighting the charcoal to making a full
meal from starter till dessert. Additionally, there were also screening of
various food-centric movies, mixologists’ demos, chef talks and cooking
demos.
Different from other
grills, Weber brings a brand new concept of “closed-lid grilling” to India.
With a Weber barbecue, one can grill, bake and roast and smoke, whether it is
Paneer tikkas or thin-crust pizzas or desserts, all could be easily managed on
