Market Dwarka is the best choice to make if you love Bengali food with a
Punjabi Twist. Nestled amidst the chaotic market of Sector 4 Market, the small restaurant
has a perky seating.

Adorned with paintings from the
Bengal Art on the wall sharing space with the unforgettable legend in music,
Usha Uttap, the restaurant is the perfect conjugation of Punjab meets Bengal. Conceptualized
by Mihir Dutta and his wife Sonali Dutta, the place has a charming ambiance
that makes you feel welcome each time. Under the guidance of his father AB
Dutta, who has 40 years of expertise under the belt, the Chatpata Bong has
already garnered attention from residents of Dwarka.
AB Dutta started Chatpata Bong as
a roadside joint after retirement, that became a huge success. Soon he opened
his first joint with his family members in the busy market of Dwarka Sector 4.
We sat indoors with other food
bloggers for a tasting session and began with a Ghughni, made with white peas
and garam masala. The flavors of Indian spices and garlic were perfect while the
raw onions and coriander leaves decorated on top accentuated the flavor quite
well. I loved it.
Next we were served Egg Devil
Chop with a tangy mustard sauce, Kasundi. It’s a must try for egg lovers. The
tender covering matched well with the well done fillings which were neither too
crispy nor too soft. We devoured them whole heartily. The Bhetki fry is a delicacy
that the owner recommended us to try.
It was the perfect dish for a fish lover.
Next we had the Veg Chop made with beetroots and carrots. The Radha Balabhi worked
like a charm. Accompanied with aaloo subzi, dish works well with those wanting
to revel in variety.
The Malabar Paranthha is a
delectable dish that went well in the main course. We ended the meal with juicy and spongy Rosogulla and Misti
Doi. 
Overall the experience was
good but I wanted to bite into the authentic Bengali flavors that can actually
make the food experience better. Visit the place without expectations and enjoy
the hospitable service.
