The GM of Double Tree by Hilton definitely plays the perfect host by organizing wonderful lunches and dinners for her esteemed guests. I received an invite from the Monisha, the GM OF Double Tree for lunch at Casablanca, a newly opened Moroccan restaurant in Hilton, Gurgaon. There were other journalists from
reputed magazines to join in the celebration on that day. I was welcomed by an amazing cool drink made of milk and saffron with the Moroccan delight, almond infused dates.
The restaurant was pleasantly decorated with an Arabian theme decorated in blue that looked beautiful. The attendees were dressed in blue attire that elevated the classic appeal of the restaurant. The cuisine at Casablanca is pure Moroccan, with a young chef from the capital, Marrakesh.
Warm hospitality is the USP of this colorful restaurant so as the ladies had a whale of a time with cocktails and mocktails, the waiters made sure each table was well taken care of. Monisha, the GM was courteous enough to make her guests comfortable by sitting with them and starting light conversations.
I had ordered a cool watermelon drink that satiated my thirst in the warm month of March. The menu comprised of authentic Moroccan delights that tantalized our taste buds and made us crave for more. It was a treat to watch a buzzing crowd of chirpy young ladies laughing at their heart’s content and enjoying their scrumptious meal. The buffet laid was as pleasing to the eyes as the ambience. While the Moroccan music filled the air, we were enjoying lip-smacking delicacies made by the proficient chefs.
