Cafe Delhi Heights, Aerocity – Perfect conjugation of flavors

Aerocity has a very distinctive vibe
where business hotels and shopping malls attract frequent travelers and diners.
Located on the ground level of Worldmark , Café Delhi Heights gives multiple choices to choose from while enjoying the playful atmosphere of the restaurant.

The newly introduced menu was something I was looking for. Café
Delhi Heights is beautiful in a comfortable kind of way. As you enter the place,
an ambiance straight from a London restaurant welcomes you.
Two things make for the magic at
any restaurant: The food, and the music that plays in the background. CDH
delighted me with these two.
The art deco interior with pots
in the fresco area are captivating.  One
wall is full of interesting captions that are both entertaining and striking. CDH
feels like the breezy yet cozy home of a hospitable family friend; familiar and
full of warmth.
We took the table on the first
floor, that was enclosed beautifully with soft drapes resembling a private
space for diners. The seating was perfect with an overview of the exciting
scene of Aerocity.
The fantastic menu etches a conjugation
of the Indian and Italian with a dash of Morrocan food. The description of
dishes would indicate some kind of medley.
We began with salads. The mayfoul
salad comprises of cous cous mixed well with dry fruits, spring onions, sun
dried tomatoes and feta cheese. Its simple heartiness made for perhaps the most
enjoyable savory salad I had ever.
My first starter was the Thai
Chilli Chicken with scented basil. It was zesty, spicy and surprisingly light,
despite being deep fried. Next was the beer battered fish. I really liked the
way the fish played off; the fattiness of the dish accentuated with the tangy
sauce.
I loved the Harira soup while my
husband loved the lemon tom yum. The Harira soup was a morroccan spiced soup
with chick peas and green lentils. The taste complimented well with the
presentation and aroma. The lemongrass flavor in Tom Yum went perfectly well
with the fresh vegetables.
The grilled sole fillet steak was
another dish that took me by surprise. I loved the puffiness from the outside
that went perfectly well with the mashed potatoes and grilled veggies.
The meal
is complete in itself. We ended the meal with a red velvet cake that was
perfect in presentation and taste.I took home good memories of my
food review through starters and the mains. Visit this place for great food,
ambiance and music on any day.
