5 reasons why you should visit Bronies

#1: Sizzlers: Apart from thesizzling pepper steak or the pok choy and mushroom with noodles on a sizzle
plate, even the Thai Curry, Chicken A la Kiev and Paneer Lababdar come on a sizzler
which adds that extra flavour to

your food, and guarantees that inspite of the
chilled air-conditioning or cold winters, the food arrives sizzling hot. Our
favourite is a veg dish – Brinjal Fries in a hot bean sauce.

#2: Cold sizzlers! Yes, cold ones… and
instead of putting an additive into the food or drink to make it sizzle,
Bronies put the sizzling charm around the dish to create the mystery but still
keep your flavours intact. Get a Peach Buzz or a Brazilian Booty cocktail, club
it with the charming Russian Salad which is not rechristened ‘Cool Russian in a
Jar’ or even a Hot Brownie with some sizzling ice-cream, who says sizzlers have
to be ‘hot’.
#3: The Giant Screen. Perfect for exciting
cricket matches, super ambience for high-adrenaline football games and just the
right mood for that special Movie night, the giant screen is overpowering and
literally takes you to the stadium/theatre. Add some popcorn, a round of
chicken kung pao gone nuts and Bira on the tap and you’ve got yourself a great
spot with friends.
#4: Hiten Panwar on Wednesdays.
The percussionist is riding a high and his fan following accompanies him to
Bronies every Wednesday for a mid-week sufi mashup. Hiten says what he plays on
Wednesdays is very different from his usual weekend act, simply because
mid-weeks are special, and owners Prashant Goyal and Simar Bedi are smilingly
there every Wed making sure it’s the perfect evening for a memorable mid-week
for all guests.
# 5: The ever-energetic Parul
Sharma, part of the management team who recenly hosted the Bronies Spring Fair,
and it was no surprise that it was a fair dedicated to womanhood.

Initially conceptualized
as a 2-brand fair, Parul pulled together 15 intelligent, charming and
enterprising women to showcase their works (from shoes to clothes, jewellery, home
decor and three artists) and after 300 women (and men) went home tired and
drunk (on sangria and alcoholic chuskis), she’s all set to roll out one special
edition each month, supported by her women-led PR enterprise, Blue Apple Image
Consultants.
