38 Barracks – Unconventional food served in a trendy ambiance

38 Barracks, a swanky restaurant
has joined the bandwagon in the city’s restaurants. Settled in the heart of Central
Delhi – CP, this hip restaurant is here to stay. The cheerful visual with a splash
of Graffiti walls and rocking music depicting the new World order sets the mood
and inspires you to break free.

While the exhaustive menu has a large variety
of delicacies, the decent pricing of the every item wets the appetite even
further.

The youth connects with the
atmosphere quite well and the families enjoy every bit of the experience. 38 Barracks
elicits an urban street vibe, an instant connect with the youth that welcomes
everyone from students to families, who come through its door.
It is a complete value for money
hangout place that promises a satiated experience. Everything on the menu is
deliciously honest & the food is straight from the heart, inspired by the
dark abyss of gluttony.
We were served two cocktails to
start with the gastronomical odyssey – Amuse Bouche and 49 Battalion that were
both perfectly done and delicious to drink. We were served the Officer’s Mess –
a vegetarian sampler. I really liked the way the vegetables played off. The Olive
Chicken Satay was another dish that took me by surprise. I loved the
crunchiness that went perfectly well with the tangy dips.
The Clash Of Titans is a perfect
meal in itself that comprise of fish and chips. The Mahi tikka has juicy chicken pieces well
marinated making it soft, tender and juicy.
Another highlight on the menu that
is worth mentioning is the Yellow Curry that is a perfect combination of flavor and taste. We sealed the meal with Baked Rasgulla Pie – that was a perfect way to end the meal. The rasgullas inside compliment well with the tender covering. I loved the experience @ 38 Barracks and would recommend it to food lovers
to visit here for a great experience.
