Luxury spa indulgence at Annandam Luxury Wellness

A day spa in the city is one of the best ways to feel rejuvenated and recharged, without the hassle of leaving the city for a break. A few days back, I visited the Annandam wellness Spa in Gurugram for a relaxing day spa experience with my mother and loved it.  The wellness spa is located in the South Point mall on the Golf Course Road.  

First Impressions

On arrival, I was impressed with the air of calm, and the beautiful waiting area. The luxury furniture, wooden floors, tastefully painted walls, subtle hues on the ceiling and ornate mahogany doors transported me to somewhere deep into a peaceful retreat.

After being greeted by the warm and smiling staff, I was taken around for a tour of the wellness abode. Large spaces with comfortable beds and subtle lightning in each room bag ten stars immediately.

The cleanliness is impressive and the minutest details are taken care of
ensuring the guests have a pleasant experience while getting the services done. After sipping some hot hibiscus tea, we were ushered towards the therapy room by very sweet therapists who come with a great experience in wellness and lifestyle.

Rooms

The wood paneled floors, light hued walls and the perfect temperature setting made the atmosphere more welcoming. The room is luxurious with a small steam room. The tranquil ambiance in the room gives a calming sensation to the mind already.

The therapist, who has acquired training in therapeutic massages, was very well versed with pressure points. She began the therapy with a very gentle oil massage. The aroma oil is helpful to re-texturize the skin, which is taken in generous amount and is gently applied on the body.

Every muscle of the body is gently pressed while smothering the oil, removing tensed muscles. Later, she uses the coffee scrub and applies it on the body, keeping in mind that the pressure is gentle and the exfoliation is focused upon.

The therapy helped in improving the circulation of blood in the body. A steam and shower later, I am transformed into a relaxed person glowing with radiance.

Annandam is a healing destination that boasts of therapeutic massages in a very tranquil ambience. The cheerful and well trained staff has a long-standing commitment to the wellness spa.
