After Working from Home for almost a year, I realized that my fashion statement was heading to a place that was going nowhere. Sitting in front of the computer, attending zoom meetings; the only thing that mattered was the work being done and deadlines being met. I came to know that like me most of the women haven’t purchased clothes over the last year.
There was no means or inclination to get ready with a nice crisp shirt and pant; with of course make-up on. The pandemic took away our inclination to dress up too. If there is anything I really miss, it is the morning session to get ready with matching shoes, accessories and bag.
But now, I’ve finally managed to break out of this routine. I really wanted to connect my at-home lifestyle with the post-vaccine world of work. That’s where I realized I required an outfit that is relaxed, comfortable and just smart enough.
After browsing for some comfort wear, I stumbled upon a new website that focuses on comfort wear – Shop swag. The website has options of Indian, western and boho wear to spruce up the wardrobe.
I preferred to choose a maxi in a plain, natural fabric. It comes in a good quality material – perfect for summers and the humid levels our city has. Best thing is the decent fabric of the dress which makes it a quick and easy way to feel more pulled-together and chic. Perfect for a socially-distanced press launch or business coffee.
I love how the fabric has a sheer soft feel and almost glides on the skin. The best thing is they have interesting offers and discounts. So it won’t burn a hole in your pocket.
You can visit shopswag and take a pick from options in western and Indian wear.
